Nominations are now open for the 2024 Past Student Awards

Who's eligible?

Any Downlands past student can be nominated for these awards. Preferably, permission should be obtained from the nominee before proceeding with a nomination (however if circumstances mean this is difficult, please let us know). Nominations should include all contact details for both the nominator and the nominee. Please supply as many documents or references as possible. You may include video, newspaper articles, art materials ... anything that you feel helps tell the complete story of the nominee.

For the Outstanding Past Student Award and the Outstanding Young Achiever Past Student Award, information is required about the nominee’s professional and personal development activities since graduation, their contribution within their chosen field and their involvement in the local, state, national and/or international community.

For the Past Student Service Award please provide a letter detailing community initiatives and activities which your nominee has lead or been involved with and/or details of how they have assisted the College since graduating.

OUR PAST STUDENT AWARD WINNERS

Outstanding Past Student

for those who have demonstrated a high level of achievement in their chosen field and/or service to the community (most likely with at least ten years of career experience).

Outstanding Young Achiever

For those who have achieved distinction in their chosen field and are aged 30 or younger.

Past Student Service Award

Building upon the MSC tradition of community, this award recognises those who has lead or been involved in community organisations since graduation.
