Welcome to

Downlands Community Connect

A place to connect, stay in touch with classmates, friends, and the school.

Welcome all Downlands Past Students

I am very proud and privileged to be the Principal of this exceptional school that has developed leaders, entrepreneurs and individuals who have made a difference in the world. Founded by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC) in 1931, Downlands College has a rich history, and it continues to be characterised by its strong Catholic ethos and MSC spirit which underpins all we do.

At Downlands we acknowledge and embrace the diverse heritage, cultures and backgrounds of our students, staff and broader school community. The development of strong, life-giving relationships forms the cornerstone of a Downlands education, and our unique MSC heritage ensures that the Downlands journey is intertwined with an ‘education of the heart’. A focus on relationships allows our core values of love, courage, compassion, understanding and humility to be woven through all our interactions.

Welcome to the DPSA & Downlands Community Connect portal. Through this portal, we aim to provide more opportunities for Past Students to connect and support each other, sharing stories and successes with the College and the wider Downlands community. We look forward to you making contact and continuing to be part of the Downlands family.

Mr Stephen Koch Principal

From the DPSA President

It is a great honour, on behalf of the DPSA, to welcome Downlands Past Students to our new web platform and services portal.

Downlands Community Connect is a game-changing step forward in our ability to engage members and deliver services. It demonstrates the College’s strong commitment to the Past Student community and empowers the DPSA.

DPSA members, and those interested in joining, are invited to register (via the JOIN button) to receive their LOGIN details - this enables access to resources, records and services.

This platform is an exciting opportunity for the DPSA to leverage the power of modern communications to bring us together – wherever we may be.

I encourage you to jump in, look around and give us your ideas and feedback to help us develop and prosper. It is ours to build and use. Let’s do it together and do it well.

Mr Dan Houghton (75-79)

DPSA President 2024-25
